Android Nougat 7 Update on Mobile smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy Android Nougat update is rolling out in force and today, Nougat update and its release as we push into the month of May.

This official update for Samsung phones. The Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be first in line to the company’s Android Nougat update.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Nougat update is pushing for the 8-inch and 9.7-inch models in Europe. Specifically, the updates are rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 (SM-T715) in Italy and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (SM-T810) in Germany.

The Galaxy Tab S2 update is also rolling out in the United States. The update is now live for the 8-inch model and the 9.7-inch model. It should be heading out to the AT&T Galaxy Tab S2 in the near future.

Samsung’s also now pushing out the Galaxy Tab A Nougat update to the 10-inch model. It’s pushing to the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+LTE variants.

A new Nougat update for the Galaxy S8 kills the ability to remap the Bixby button. Bixby is the new voice assistant on board the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

Instructions

• Extract (unzip) the firmware file
• Download Odin v3.10.7
• Extract Odin ZIP file
• Open Odin v3.10.7
• Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
• Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
• Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
• Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
• Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
